Istanbul Gelişim University (İGÜ) is a non-profit private university founded in 2008 by the Gelişim Education, Culture, Health and Social Service Foundation. Originally established as a vocational school, it gained university status in 2011, and today serves over 13,000 students, including around 2,000 master’s and doctoral candidates, supported by a faculty of approximately 372 academicians .
