Founded in 1901, Shandong University (SDU) is one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in China. Headquartered in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, SDU is a Double First-Class university and a member of the Project 985 and Project 211 national initiatives, recognized for its excellence in research, innovation, and global engagement. It has three main campuses in Jinan, with additional campuses in Qingdao and Weihai, altogether hosting over 60,000 students and more than 3,000 faculty.
