Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), founded in 1896 in Shanghai and relocated to Xi’an in 1956, is one of China’s oldest and most prestigious universities. It is part of the C9 League (China’s Ivy League) and a key member of Project 985, Project 211, and the Double First-Class University Plan, highlighting its status as a top-tier research institution.
