Hamadan University of Medical Sciences (UMSHA), established in 1972 and formally recognized as an independent medical university in 1986, is a prominent public health and medical sciences institution located in Hamadan, western Iran. The university operates under the supervision of Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education and is ranked among the top regional institutions for clinical and biomedical education.

UMSHA encompasses 10 faculties, 16 teaching hospitals, and over 20 research centers, offering more than 70 academic programs to approximately 6,300 students, including hundreds of international students. 📝 Admission Requirements & Process

Undergraduate Admission:

  • High school diploma with science background (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

  • Minimum academic average of 70–75%

  • No entrance exam required for English-taught MBBS programs

Graduate Admission:
